OptikaliLLusion Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Yes, I know it sounds vauge, but complain to Microsoft, not me. When I try to view certain YTMND's or videos or the like, Firefox crashes. When I try viewing a video in Windows Media Player, WMP crashes. IE crashes when I start it up. iTunes crashes when I start it up. Why the hell did everything decide to just start dying?
LoArmistead Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 RAM taking a shart? OC taken its toll on RAM maybe. If you start getting BSOD's, it's definitely RAM.
Ste Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 How long have you gone without a reformat?
OptikaliLLusion Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 1. No overclock, don't think it has to do with RAM 2. Four months
LoArmistead Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Most of the time when I see problems like that, it means you're low on virtual memory and your PF usage is off the chart.

Ste Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 (edited) I would consider a Reformat, make sure you back up your data. If you want to be sure its not your RAM, download Memtest 86, burn to disc, and boot off of it, run tests for some hours then see if there are any errors. OptikaliLLusion Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Well I left it on from about thirty minutes after i made this topic to 8AM Eastern time, and the problem alleviated itself o_O I'll do that Memtest stuff at some point.
