OptikaliLLusion Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Alright, so for some reason, now my mic is all crapped out. What. The. crap. Logitech Precision Gaming Headset. Definetly plugged in correctly. "Test Hardware" does nothing, Sound Recorder doesn't pick up anything, Voice Config doesn't pick up anything, but the mic input volume is at full. What is going on? OptikaliLLusion Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 ... I find it odd that it just suddenly stopped working. Surely Windows is as fault, not the headset.

Go to sound properties, click on Advance tab, and make sure Mic Boost is on.

Kash Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 That's the software that came with your Audigy 2 ZS. We're assuming that you DID install it.
OptikaliLLusion Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I didn't. And I am using my onboard mic port, not the Audigy's. If one could direct me to where I can download that app, I'll plug it into the Audigy. EDIT: I downloaded the Audio Control center or whatever it is called for the Audigy ZS 2 yet it didn't detect my card O_O
hardnrg Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 urg... don't use onboard sound at all.. just disable it in bios... then install the creative drivers and software... you might find it at WWW.SOUNDBLASTER.COM or you can download the superior YouP-PAX New Year 2005 modified creative drivers... http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=66414
OptikaliLLusion Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 This is pleasant, I followed the instructions for that PAX . and for some reason it wouldn't install the drivers. I downloaded the latest drivers and it said the card is not detected. God grrrrr, I could really go for about $5,000 right now.
