BarneyGumble Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I just got a new processor about a month ago. It seems to run very hot. It's a socket 754 Athlon 64 3700+ and idles around 55C. Nerm Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Don't trust the onboard temp sensor. Do a bios update and see if that helps. How warm does the HS feel if you put your fingers on it while it is running?....The best way to get accurate temps is with a temp probe. Onboard temp sensors are almost NEVER accurate.
