Acid Storm Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 check your bios settings. be sure to have agp 4x turned on, and read the manual to see what it all means if you dont know. you could also install the lastest drivers. you can find them at www.nvidia.com run pcmark2002 to see if there is anything alse in your system running slow. I find sandra 2003 a very usefull tool. it gives a full analises of your system so you can find out what might be wrong. there is a driver manual on nvidia.com aswell so you can look at you driver settings. I would try setting everything to default. otherwise reinstalling windows always boost performance I don't know what you know so i'm just giving some ideas. good luck ask if I wasn't clear enough
smeghead009 Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 are both cards using the same drivers ? my stock score on 3dmark is 10,000. in your graphics card properties set your cards preformance to agressive (se attatched) and see what happens

xpandapuss Posted February 7, 2003 Posted February 7, 2003 Changing your 'Performance & Quality' setting to 'Aggressive' should yield a noticable increase in benchmarking for 3DMARK. To add to VP's quote, also change your AGP Memory to 256MB within the BIOS.... And as always, update to the latest driver support for your GPU.
