no__name42 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 ok, heres whats going on, my moms b/f's computer just went ka-boom a few days ago.. so i told him i can set up an account on my computer for him to do what ever with.,., so i made a partition on my 120gigger for him. but what i dont want is him to have access to looking thru the OTHER drives/partitions. like, windows is on a diff drive..i dont know if that will make a difference? i jsut want him to be able to lookthru/modify HIS partition. is there away i can do this? thanks in advance Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

EDIT: If you have Norton 2005 with the System Optimizer installed, you can hide the other partitions (under the explorer -> hide drives tab), but he'd still be able to get at them with a direct command to them like doing a RUN command.
