Gr4vitas Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 alright im trying to format my pc and you know when it asks you to press any key to boot from cd...well i press any key and nothing hapens..its like my key board isent liek loaded yet. its a usb hook up and it works when i press deleat to go into my bios but then it asks me to press any key right after and nothing works....I NEED HELP!!! segjestions PELASE! Kash Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 In the BIOS there should be an option to enable USB input devices. Make sure that is enabled. I personally don't understand why they don't have this enabled from the factory. If there is a need to disable the feature, that's what the option is for. napmaster383 Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 (edited) USB keyboards come with PS/2 adapters. I usually keep them in a safe place in case I need it in the future. Try to find yours and attach it to see if that works. You could also try connecting an old ps/2 keyboard that's lying around as well. From experience, the two ASUS brand motherboards I own don't have USB devices disabled by factory default. That's why I love ASUS.
