Your comp will run faster if XP has its own partition and thats all you put on it is the OS, you will prolly see some increase in performance... like the other said.. every month or so run a defrag.. clean out the system clear the history.. delete temp files.. cache... etc.. I run defrag and this program called evidence eliminator to get ride of old deleted files and crap. Right now with the 20 gig partition for windows it has about 16 gig left on it.
