just wondering, my poor P3 mobile 1Ghz folder keeps getting those 600 point gromacs, my 3.5Ghz HT P4 keeps getting tons of those little 52, 57, 64 point gomacs, how can i move the wu from one machine to the other, i mean, i know physically er electronically how, but do i only have to move the "work" folder, or do i need to move any other files with it?

I posted this about a week ago - there is a registry entry that must be moved along with the work folder. Each protein assigned to you is associated with your unique machine and user id. Each machine under your name has a unique id, so if you move a protein to another machine w/o changing the id, Stanford will reject that protein when you turn it in. I've never done this myself, but I did a little research over at the Folding Community forums - check this thread on how to do it.

ok thanks, i knew you or one of the other uber folders would answer

hrm, looks like too much trouble to be worth it, the ole' p3M gets 'em done in about a week or so anyways, well within time constraints, so no biggie
