have you tried running it from the command line?

start -> run -> type cmd and press enter

change to drive = [drive letter]:

e.g. E:

change to directory/folder = cd "\blah de blah\you can have spaces with quotes"

e.g. cd "\my old dos games\Dune II"

and that should take you to E:\my old dos games\Dune II

OR, you could try booting from a dos bootdisk, but then you get to relive the fun of loading soundcard drivers into "high" memory and all that lol
