openwheelracing Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Currently I am using Corsair XMS3200C2 in dual channel. Although Corsair rates these two sticks at 2 3 3 6, I am not able to run these latencies WITH "Memory Acceleration Mode" enabled. Currently it's running 2.5, 3, 3, 6 with MAM enabled. Anyone know how I can get the most out of my i865pe chipsets and Corsair XMS sticks? any help/opinion would be appreciated. thanks. mazakman Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Your ram is rated to run at 2.7 volts, check your bios. 2.5, 3, 3, 6 are the timings for AMD boards over 166 fsb, you should be able to run 2, 3, 3, 6 on your Intel system, or at least that's what Corsair advertises. I have the same ram but in the 512meg variation (rev 1.2) and to tell you the truth I'm not that impressed by it on my Epox 8RDA+ or My 8RDA3+ as far as overclocking is concerned, but that could be attributed to the revision of the memory. Visit the Corsair help forum and search through the threads for a similar problem to yours, or even ask Ramguy for help with your problem. http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/forumdis...php?forumid=
