Vampire Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 Good luck getting that high, it may be a challenge. Since it's a mobile chip it SHOULD be unlocked.
ravix Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 It will be unlocked. By definition mobiles have to be unlocked, it helps them stay cool in laptops. However, I would say 2.6-2.7 is far from guaranteed with a mobile processor. 2.4-2.5 seems to be the going rate.
markiemrboo Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 To get 2.6/2.8 you'll probably be looking at 1.85/1.95v .. depending on what stepping you get.
Vampire Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 To get 2.6/2.8 you'll probably be looking at 1.85/1.95v .. depending on what stepping you get. And good cooling. I'd say you'd probly need water or high end air cooling.
