Is This Going To Be Locked?

Planning to make a cheap upgrade, assuming 2 things about this product. Heres some detail:

AMD Mobile Athlon XP 2500+, 266 FSB, 512K Cache, 45 Watt - OEM

OK, first thing, i'm assuming that wi/ good memory and mobo, great cooling, i can push this chip to 2.6 to 2.7ish ghz? Is this possible?

 

Second, and more imp o rtantly, is the multiplier changeable on this chip? how do i find out b4 buying? Pls help me out. Thanks guys

It will be unlocked. By definition mobiles have to be unlocked, it helps them stay cool in laptops.

 

However, I would say 2.6-2.7 is far from guaranteed with a mobile processor. 2.4-2.5 seems to be the going rate.
