computerfreakxv Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 (edited) Should I keep on the VPU Recover option while OCing an ATI card? Also, what is a good tool for OCing an ATI Card? InvaderTrax Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 No and either ATi Tool or RadLinker (the one built into the Omega drivers, the regular one sucks)
Guest FxXP Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 The one built into the Omega drivers is the same as the original RadLinker, just a version that worked better. ATi Tool can actually determine what clock speeds are best for your card.
CmpFreak88 Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I personally like ATI Tool, finds the best speeds automatically or you can set it manually.

oralpain Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I have found ATiToll to be unreliable at finding ax memory speed and almsot toaly worthless for X800s. It clocked my 9800pro memory all the way to 420 (840DDR) with out finding artifacts, hard locked istabtly in games. It did work very well for finding the ideal core clock however. It said my X800pro flashed to XT was good for 550core and 600mem(1,200DDR) when I was really only good for 500/580.
