Hyper Threaded Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 I want to go with 1gb of RAM for next year, the RAM I have now is GeIL PC3200 Ultra 512mb in a 2x256 dual-channel configuration. I've never had any problems with 512mb of the GeIL RAM, but I'm wondering how their 1gb dual-channel kits are. Most people with GeIL RAM seem to be pleased with it, as am I. My RAM requirments are that it be PC3200 and have a heat-spreader on it. I am not overly concerned with the overclocking ability, just that it be stable and run seamlessly. I prefer to keep the same 2-3-3-6 timings I have now. I want to keep the price under $300. Any suggestions?
