sykocus Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 will this acurately mesure the abient (air) temperature of an area of my case or do i have to attach it to something like the cpu, and dimm etc. does anyone know of a product that i can use to monitor the air in a specific area of my case? Psywar Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 it will show the air tempture.. what you would prolly want to do.. is dangle it from the top of the case to the middle of the case.. like.. hrmm.. tape in about the middle if the wire.. somewere at the top of the case.. and then let the probe just dangle freely about in the middle of the case.. and that will show the temp inside the case.. It has a 3 second delay.. as for the tempture being off.. I have not had a problem with mine.. it seems to be like .5 degrees off from what my thermostat says in the house.. nothing to big though..
