s4m Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 I have a chieftec mini dragon case. It currently only has an intake on the left side panel, and a and exhaust threw the power supply. I am wanting to change/add some fans to it, and it has places to put fans on the frount, rear, and right side. The fan and powersupply on it now are made by ultra, I was thinking about replaceing it with a quiter fan (opinions?) and adding another intake in the frount. Do yall think i should add another exhaust on the rear and intake on right side? or what other setups do yall think i should use? Also what type of nice quiet fans do yall reccomend. Thanks
cybergrunt69 Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 (edited) There are a number of makers for quiet/silent fans. Generally, the best most accepted fan setup is to get an intake fan on the front bottom, and an exhaust on the top back. There are also a significant number of threads on this forum that have drawings, links, examples, home-made mods, and kits. Have you tried this link yet? Check out AMD's recommendation on page 26 of this. Edited August 14, 2004 by cybergrunt69
