tazwegion Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I have a floppy, every PC i build has ones... They save the day sometimes... but can you use those new 2.88mb disks with a normal floppy? As far as I know... the disk isn't any different, it's just the way the drive writes/compresses the data for example... 760kb (original format) data can be read in the 1.44/2.88 drives, but the higher condensed data cannot be read by the preceding drive (format)...
