You might also want to look at installing SpyBot Search & Destroy - its a few MB, so download that and the update file at home, put it on a CD and bring it in... Usually, spybot finds about as many as adaware does, but some items seem to be found only by one or the other. Also, Spybot has a memory-resident app that will block registry entries... +-geek-+ Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 i got adaware and sbybot s&d also....run those at least 2 times a week (make sure they are updated) and your machine will run flawlessly! adaware usually finds more than spybot for me but spybot finds the ones that adaware didnt so in combination its nice....spybot s&d also comes with some special little programs, i enable both of them and that helps a lot also.
