Inu_Yasha Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 Ok guys, I'm in the market (finally) for a good gaming/tv/encoding vid card. First off, it has to be $180 or cheaper and has to have some way to encode movies and tv programs. I want something that's good for gaming as well . I was wondering if I could use VIVO to encode off my tv and vcr. Here's my main problems: My tv is a mono tv with only a normal tv out jack (you know the round thing with the curls), I have a vcr, but its mono as well and doesn't have svideo. I do have a DSS that has Svideo as well as a surround sound that's supposed to hook up to my monitor. So what card would you guys reccommend? I'm looking at a ge4 4200, mainly the leadtek one. I can't rember which cards had the best frame rate (I once found a site which compared many different cards, but can't rember now). Please help me T_T.
