OptikaliLLusion Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 PReferrably CPU and Memory... I'm sure I could OC high with this processor if I could change the voltages. And don't say the BIOS, Smart Alecs
the11ama Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 (edited) http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility_1.08.5.html Your chip is unlocked, right? Edited June 11, 2004 by a_rabbit
pyro_chaos Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 I use cpumsr it raises the voltages and the multi of ur processor.
OptikaliLLusion Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 CPUMsr says that voltage changing and multi changing is not supported. I HATE THIS FRIGGIN MOTHERBOARD! UPDATE: I disabled user protection. But when I Try to change the multi and voltage, it says "Unknown transition error"
hardnrg Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 did you try nvidia's system utility though? i get the essential items on mine (except multiplier cos my barton is locked <_<) you've got the nforce2 chipset, my mobo's got nforce2... so should work in theory for you too... dunno though, mite depend on your bios supporting nsu... (edit: there's a utility you can use called WarpSpeeder that lets you overclock, overvolt, etc... should have come with your mobo, check it out!!!! ) anyway, here's a screeny of nsu:
airman Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 umm...the bios has always worked for me? lol
hardnrg Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 yeah, why aren't you using the bios?
p8baller07 Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 yeah, why aren't you using the bios? Yeah its better because you'll boot with your overclock and with NSU, you'll have to apply those settigs every boot (it doesnt save them)
hardnrg Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 if, for some bizarre reason, the bios doesn't show the fsb/voltage options, then the WarpSpeeder app (from Biostar) should work on every boot... seems to me as though someone could do with a new mobo? his biostar is nf2 tho so it should be fairly good in theory...
