A++ Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 How do I get my Volcano 12 to work with my Aerogate II?? I can't seem to able to control its fan speed, it would always run on its maximum speed! Hoew do I work out the wiring on there 2 things to make them work together? it is true that the Aerogate II can adjust fan speed manually right??? Please help! p8baller07 Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 (edited) ...well first of all the only way to do what your trying to do will take some modding of wires... On your Fan you will see a short FEMALE connecter w/ 2 wire (black and Red) these are for speed and this is what you connect to the two fan controlers you got, that 3pin connector w/ the yellow wire is to tell your MB or w/ the RPM of the fan..... RED=power Black=Ground Y=Speed Sensor Now to do what you want to do, you'll need 2 wires (about 1 foot long each, small colors to. Red/Black) and youll need to connect 1 wire to each pin on that FEMALE connector on the fan.... then somehow connect it to that 3pin connector with the 2 empty slots.... put the red next to the yellow and black next to that... so it should go YELLOW:RED:BLACK EDIT: this picture might help you out http://store4.yimg.com/I/xoxide_1795_83164372 BTW welcome to the forums Edited May 31, 2004 by p8baller07 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
