This Is Crazy...

ok today i gota dvi to vga adaptor. hoping to hook up dual monitor..

 

well i hocked it all up.. booted...

 

1st problem i saw= the xp boot screen.. took 1min 11 seconds!

 

2nd problem.. the log on screen took 10 sec to appear...

 

3rd problem.. screen blinked insanly

 

4th problem.. it says "you just finished insstalling new ATI drivers

 

5th problem=- says please insert xp ofice disk..

 

 

so after all that crap..

i restarted

the 1st and 2nd probem repeated itself.. with a few new ones... i couldnt see the logon screen.... but i knew it was there.. so i just clicked enter... nothing could pop up off the task bar... .. it was just stuck...

 

sooo i unpluged my sedond montior.. and achieved starting up properly...

 

now i odnt know how dual monitor can cause such a problem.. any ideas? and my frigan xp boot screen takes 1 min and 11 seconds!!@$!@@!$

 

thisis the crazyies problemi have seeen since.... my suddenly appearing words on msn....

 

 

but anyways.. any help will be appriciated.. il just sit in a corner and wait now...

well not sure what went wrong for you but you mite try enabling vga mode and see if that helps though i dont think it will since you can see things

for some monitors, if the resolution is too high, it just goes black, but maybe i just read question wrong as i load a ut2k4 game

ok.. the dual monitor problem is gone.... all because. i unplugged and re- pluged eveyrhing...

EXTREMLY ALARMING PROBLEM is..........

 

the xp boot screen takes frigan over 1 min to load.... and another thing.. icant do disk check... it says it failed

 

 

im scaning for virus right now... i hope something turn out.. or else im gona go run around in circles like a phyco.

dual part seeems fine.. i think this is 2 separate problems?
