trustnoone Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 I just installed Radeon 7500 on my computer. Had to upgrade driver coz graphics were too slow. Now that everything is updated, I have slow menus in Win XP. If I switch to classic view, all is fine. Any suggestions?
Adumbnewbie Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 Id say make sure you have all the XP updates. If you do, then just use classic view or disable all the bizzarre and unneccessary effects in XP, like shadows and stuff.
d3bruts1d Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 First.. Make sure the ATI card is set to performance. Next.. Right click on desktop, properties, appearance, effects, and uncheck these two boxes: () Use the following transition effects () Show shadows under menus Next right click on my computer, click properties, click advanced, click on performance settings and adjust to best preformance. That should do it.... also, how much RAM do you have in your PC?
