Guest_Jim_* Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Memory is a critical component of any system, and when the system is responsible for mission critical operations, it can be critical to have memory properly qualified for it. Goldkey Technology Corporation, the company behind the Neo Forza label have announced the successful qualification of its server modules for Dell servers; specifically the PowerEdge R650 and R750 series. The qualified modules are DDR4 and offer from 2133 MT/s to 3200 MT/s. Though DDR5 has arrived already, DDR4 offers maturity that can be desirable, and support on existing platforms that can be necessary. The company has already produced DDR5 server memory, and is presently qualifying them with data center server partners. The RDIMMs offered for these Dell servers come in single-stick capacities of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB, and at speeds off 2133 MT/s, 2400 MT/s, 2666 MT/s, 2933 MT/s, and 3200 MT/s to fit the needs of Neo Forza's customers. All use Hynix-Select chips and run at 1.2 V. Source: Neo ForzaBack to original news post
