It is the season for games to start holding in-game holiday events and those for GTA Online and Red Dead Online have begun. In GTA Online you will find Los Santos businesses are decking their halls with trees, holly, and wreathes of tinsels. Snowfall has also been predicted so you can look forward to snowball fights. You can also expect various gifts including festive bodysuits, fireworks, miniguns, and more. Those who log in on December 24 will get the Green Reindeer Lights Bodysuit, Firework Launcher, 20x Firework Rockets and more, but on December 25 you will receive a free and fully weaponized Invade and Persuade RC Tank. There are also various items on discount including real estate and vehicles.

Red Dead Online is also in on the festivities with piano players playing festive folk songs when you enter saloons, but you will want to be careful with your travels as harsh weather is also arriving. Snow-dusted versions of the Spoils of War, Up in Smoke, and Overrun Showdown Modes are also available, though PlayStation 4 players will get exclusive access to festive versions of Gun Rush, Make it Count, and Last Stand as well. These will be available until January 6. Playing between December 23 and 25 will get you a gift chest containing numerous provisions including the Krampus Double Barrel Shotgun variant, 30 rounds of incendiary buckshot ammo, 100 shotgun slugs, and much more. You can also get 50% off a shotgun or coat by visiting the Benefits section during this period. Just playing between December 13 and January 6 will get you 3000 Club CP, RDO$200 for starting a new role, various rewards, and 30% off one Stable slot offer. Playing between December 31 and January 6 gets you a 1000 XP reward for the Moonshiner, Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector Specialist Roles in Red Dead Online. You will also find various items on sale during this time.
