Guest_Jim_* Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 All good things come to an end, and this is no less true for software. UL Benchmarks have announced that a number of benchmarks are going to cease being supported come January 14, 2020. These benchmarks are 3DMark 11, PCMark 7, Powermark, 3DMark Cloud Gate, and 3DMark Ice Storm. All of these were released between 2011 and 2013, and due to this age no longer provide useful and comparable results for modern hardware. There are newer benchmarks that target the same hardware as these that can be used instead and the table is provided below. After January 14 these benchmarks will no longer be sold, receive updates, be guaranteed to work with online services, and will no longer be eligible for customer support. Those who purchased 3DMark 11 from Steam will continue to own it, but also legacy benchmarks become free to download from the UL Benchmarks website, but are there for entertainment purposes.
