Guest_Jim_* Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 The September update for HITMAN 2 is out now, and with it the Haven Island location for Expansion Pass owners. The Special Assignment Pack 2 arrived at the same time for the pass owners, giving them new missions in Miami (A Silver Tongue) and Whittleton Creek (A Bitter Pill). All HITMAN 2 players can expect a number of changes as part of the update to version 2.70.0 though. Among these other changes are color-coded labels for items, such as marking the Chloroform Flask with 'Consumed Poison' and in purple a 'Sedative' label. The in-game HUD has been updated to shorten the warning about using items in the interaction wheel to jut 'Illegal Action.' A quality-of-life change was made for text scrolling to make it smoother and a number of community-reported issues were fixed as well. Among these was a means to get Agent 47 to drop his gun but continue aiming, so he would walk around pointing a finger gun at NPCs. While the update does address a lot, there are some issues that remain, including one that is PC specific. If you are have been experiencing "0x8000000_" or similar crashes, it is recommended to try using DX12. This and other issues remain open as the developers try to track down causes and fixes. You can check out the source link for the complete list of changes and known issues.
