In the game, you play as a Templar working through a dilapidated temple that is filled with mystery and deadly enemies within the shadows. The combat is deliberately paced and weighty, making mistakes the all the more impactful, especially as supplies are scare along your labyrinthine path. You cannot necessarily expect the god in this world to help you as there are curses and illnesses it can place on you as well as blessings. Over 180 blessings, curses, and runes to more exact as well as over 250 weapons, spells, armor, and items for facing the many enemies and 18 unique bosses. With various paths to try though, there is a lot of replayability, for those seeking to return to the challenge. Dark Devotion is available now on Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle for $19.99.
