Guest_Jim_* Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 A couple weeks ago Acer held its next@Acer Global Press Conference where it announced a number of new products, including notebooks. Today the company has announced some of these will ship with NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 16-series GPUs inside. Though lacking the RT and Tensor cores of the RTX 20-series, these are still some of NVIDIA's latest Turing-based GPUs. At the lower end, the Aspire 7 notebook will ship with up to the GTX 1650 installed, combined with up to the Intel Core i7-9750H and 16 GB of RAM. Entering the gaming range, the new Nitro 5 and Nitro 7 series of notebooks can feature up to the GTX 1660 Ti inside, along with the Intel Core i7-9750H. The displays for some models of these Nitro notebooks can support 144 Hz and 3 ms response time Overdrive, allowing the GPU to stretch its performance and users to enjoy tear-free gaming. The Predator Helios 300 has the RTX 2070 Max-Q for its top configuration, but will now offer the GTX 1660 Ti as an option. The exact specifications, prices, and availability for these products will vary by region, so if they interest you, be sure to check out Acer's website for information.
