Guest_Jim_* Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Later this week Ubisoft will be releasing Assassin's Creed III Remastered, which will include all of the DLC content for the original game and a new version of its companion title Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered. As part of this remastering, the game will feature a new graphics engine with support for HDR and 4K resolutions, and higher-resolution textures amongst other changes. This means that even though the original game launched in 2012, the system requirements may be a bit higher now than before. Ubisoft has revealed what its recommended specifications are for four performance/quality targets. Target: 1080p at 30 FPS – Preset: Lowest CPU: AMD FX 6350 or Intel Core i5-2400 RAM: 8 GB Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 270X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Operating System: Windows 7, 8, or 10 Target: 1080p at 30 FPS – Preset: High CPU: AMD FX 8350 or Intel Core i5-3470 RAM: 8 GB Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 280X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Operating System: Windows 7, 8, or 10 Target: 1080p at 60 FPS – Preset: High CPU: AMD FX 8350 or Intel Core i7-3770K RAM: 8 GB Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 290X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Operating System: Windows 7, 8, or 10 Target: 2160p at 30 FPS – Preset: High CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i7-4790 RAM: 8 GB Video Card: AMD Radeon Vega 56 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Video Preset: High Operating System: Windows 10 Assassin's Creed III Remastered releases on March 29 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It will also release on Nintendo Switch on May 21. It is included as part of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Season Pass, but everyone else will be able to purchase it separately.
