Guest_Jim_* Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Pathfinder: Kingmaker released back in September but it is now that we are learning about the DLC, with the first launching on December 8. This first one is The Wildcards where you will get a new playable character in the form of the Tiefling Kineticist, and this also serves as the introduction of her race and character class. Apparently there was significant interest in having this part demon race in the game, so the developers decided to make that happen with the first DLC. The second DLC is Varnhold's Lot and it adds a bonus campaign exploring the story of Maegar Varn. This mercenary captain is another hero of the Stolen Lands who built a barony in the Shrike Hills and Narlmarshes. Though it is a bonus campaign, the consequence of choices made during it can be exported into the base game's main campaign. It is approximately the size of a chapter from the main campaign, and should take betwee 6 and 12 hours to complete, depending on your playstyle. Finally, Beneath the Stolen Lands will add a rogue-like randomly generated endless dungeon and new unique boss to contend with. You can work through this dungeon as part of the main campaign or in a separate game, if you wish. None of these DLC will be standalone. Each of the DLC can be purchased individually or come as part of the Season Pass, which goes on sale on December 6 along with The Wildcards. The Season Pass will cost $24.99 while The Wildcards will be $7.99; Varnhold's Lot will be $11.99 when it launches in February 2019; and Beneath the Stolen Lands will be $9.99 when it launches in April 2019. The release dates for the latter two DLC are only estimates, so it is possible they will change.
