Guest_Jim_* Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 According to industry sources for Tweak Town (which classifies this as a rumor) AMD will be dropping the price of the RX 470 to $169 to combat the upcoming GeForce GTX 1050 Ti NVIDIA is expected to launch at $159. As the RX 470 is expected to be a better performing card than the GTX 1050 Ti, this could be a significant win for AMD in the 1080p market both companies are targeting with these cards. Of course, as this price drop and performance numbers for the GTX 1050 Ti are all technically rumor at this point, we cannot know what will happen until it actually does.
