Which air cooler is better and fits my case?

Recommended Posts

I recently bought my first pc build, a i5 4690k with GA H97M-D3H and 2x4 corsair vengeance 1600...

The HD 4600 iGPU will be used until i buy a new GPU in a few months probably and THEN i would like to overclock a bit

I need a air cooler with good performance/price recommendation from you guys

My case is a NZXT S340 from nzxt site specs: Cleareance: 161mm (cpu cooler), Dimensions: 200mm x 445mm x 432 mm

From what i've researching here's a couple of coolers available to buy here in Brazil (Ambient temp can make it to 40c in summer)

If you guys think a water cooler with this price range is better say it :)

RAIJINTEK Themis Evo 149 BRL

DEEPCOOL Lucifer v2 227 BRL

DEEPCOOL Assassin II 400 BRL (this guy have 1,4KG WTF and i dont think that performance pays off for this price , am i right?)

I have preferences for Raijintek Themis evo for good benchmarks results regarding performance/price and dark knight ii also looks good but i dont know much about it...hope you guys can help me a bit

Thanks for your attention

Welcome to OCC,.. with the ambient air in Brazil being as warm in summer as it is,.. your going to need lots of air flow in your chassis regardless of cpu cooler you choose, the S340 is nice choice.

I would go with the Corsair Hydro H55 cooler. http://www.pichau.com.br/hardware/cooler-processador/water-cooler-corsair-hydro-h55-120mm-cw-9060010-ww-box
