gebraset Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Intel is expected to launch a full range of Skylake-U processors sometime next month, and specifications concerning those processors have just been released by technology website FanlessTech. The processors are being aimed at devices that benefit from low power usage components, such as laptops and even tablets, and the new Skylake-U series is expected to replace the Broadwell-U series that was launched earlier this year. While the current leaked specifications only show off Skylake-U processors that feature a TDP of 15W, consumers should expect four chips that feature TDPs of 28W and Intel Iris Graphics, the latter of which provides excellent performance and efficiency in gaming, to arrive in the first quarter of 2016. get_saif Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Intel says they are cutting head cost for making those heatsinks+fans. So they are completely removed in Skylake above.
