That_Guy Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I am being very suspicious towards Samsung monitors for one reason - i owned two, and BOTH went south in about a month after the warranty expired. Both had a similar malfunction - screen started flickering when turned on, at first it was barely noticeable but then it was taking me 5-10 minutes of waiting to get it go away until eventually both stopped working completely. I've read up on internet and many other people confirm to have a similar issue. Some posts were saying something about a faulty module used in production and that Samsung admitted to that being true. So i switched to a different brand and never looked back. Knowing Asus for being a manufacturer of quality hardware i'd recommend ASUS over Samsung any day. I own ASUS laptop and motherboard, didnt have a single hiccup with either.Dont think i'll ever buy a Samsung again. Because it sucks buying a new monitor every 2 years. So i vote ASUS.
