R5DDX Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Okay so im looking to get a MSI 7850 Graphics card, however my mother board is a MSI 7360 and it only states that it has one PCIe EXPRESS x16 slot. The MSI card I am hopefully going to get is a PCIe 3.0, I understand that in theory they should work together but I was just wondering if anyone has this setup, or knows of any problems with the 7360 boards with newer cards, cheers, George Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

You will lose some performance on a Pcie 1.1 slot compared to a 2.0 or 3.0. How much? it really depends on what your playing and what your setup is like.
