Thermoelectric Waterblock

Recommended Posts

Yeah but is a TEC really the way you want to go? Why not spend the money on custom water and ditch the h100. I know you want cooler temps I am not an idiot just want to know if you really think you will get what you want from a TEC.

Already at 5.1GHz is it really going to be worth it? Eitherway there was a company that sold reasonably priced intergrated peltier waterblocks and controllers that could measure dew point and set the TEC to stay a few degrees above the dew point. They have dissapeared tho.

If you were referring to Arqtik, we're still around. I think you mean something like this: http://arqtik.com/index.php/product/1-180sdd-single-direct-die-1155-1156-black

It uses the controller http://arqtik.com/index.php/product/6-tscon-arqtik-single-tec-controllerc-controller

The setup is slightly cheaper than the Coolit Freezone but also requires you to have a watercooling loop in place. We are researching an all in one unit which will hopefully pan out.

Hope the reply wasn't too late.

I have a 775 system but am looking towards upgrading fairly soon to an 1155 setup. Can I use your standard waterblock with a different/custom hold down mount, or would I be limited to the chiller?

I'm thinking the Chiller would be my best bet, but worried about its ability to handle a highly OC'd i7 in a hot and humid FL environment.

Whats the turn around time, and any discount for OCC Members? :) I've always wanted to make my own TEC setup, but your products look great and are reasonably priced, and with less and less free time for modding I am considering buying one.

It usually takes about 5 business days to fabricate, test and ship it out. Might be less, as it has been slow lately so we might have gotten caught up a little lol.
