Drdeath Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 12-12-12 11-13-12 Loosen the TRFC and run memtest before booting into windows Ya think getting cas 10 at 2133MHz may be better performance?????
Praz Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I see your runniong 2T on the command rate. 1T will get better performance also. After all this, I see your running Ivybridge... LOL. I haven't played with memory with Ivy yet but they say you can get higher frequencies with IvyBridge... 1T is tough with 32GB at low voltage. The performance difference is negligible anyway. Erosannin Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I am running my G.Skill RipjawsX 2133Mhz @ 10-10-10-28-1T and performance is astounding to be honest. Latency is the damn best thing I ever got and memory bandwidth reaches my Triple channel from my X58 System I had.
ccokeman Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Why not buy some ram that will do the wanted speed without the increase in volts. Set ram voltage for the screenshot below is 1.55V. It is also available in 2x4GB kits. Nice memory controller on that chip
Erosannin Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Ivy Bridge is damn powerful. My 2600K @ 4.8Ghz with my G.Skill 2133Mhz 10-10-10-28-1T get me maximum 108.4 GFlops and Ivy Bridge's i5 @ 4.6 gets him 130Gflops Is there any settings I can tweak to get better numbers from my CPU???
