El_Capitan Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Everything is setup correctly, but overclocked settings aren't sticking. The Vcore adjusts correctly, but my clock speeds stay at 3.4GHz. Could it be the motherboard? I have no issues with the non-GEN3 version of this motherboard.
Erosannin Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Changing the VRM monitoring from T.Probe to Extreme (from Thermal stability to Current Stability) might do the trick cause it's what solved the exact same issue on my ASUS Maximux IV Extreme-Z. El_Capitan Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I figured it out. It was the drivers or something. Once I did a clean install, overclocking worked fine.
