bp9801 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Ralph McQuarrie passed away yesterday. He was the concept artist behind Star Wars, Star Trek, E.T., and the original Battlestar Galactica. His early concepts for Star Wars helped set the tone of the entire saga, and helped create the visual style the series is known for.
