sticknstone Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Fans flat against a rad have areas where there is no air blown through the rad because of the center of the fan and the round shape of the fan, so the rad box allows the fan to be installed back enough so that the air will go through the whole rad area. This will increase performance similar to installing fans push/pull, ie a few degrees gain. I would call this a minor tweak to the wc setup. I seen a review which used this rad box.
