sword_fish Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 having 2 of those silent fans @ 72 CFMs push- pull would be good enough. but you may check out these silent yet powerful(silent typhoon series) fans from scythe, these are best suited for liquid cooling rads afaik but it would be perfect i guess for air cooler systems either. and comes much slimmer then most fans. http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/051/d1225c12b1ap_detail.html
Mombo Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Well I cant tell what that site is saying of course but there is a difference between different fans. My case fans push 90cfm but have less pressure then my Blade Master 120's that only push 72cfm. For a HS/F you want high pressure not higher cfm. The Blade Master being some of the best fans for that...atleast for the price.
Stonerboy779 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Blademasters are good I run a single one on my 212+ at 50% for an idle temp 2-3C over ambient and under gaming/working load only 10-15C tops over ambient with a 4.3ghz oc on my 2500k when benching I bump it up to 100%.
