highc1157 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Hi all, helpful info Phenom ii x4 965 BE ddr2 800 gskill (4GB) gigabyte ga-ma790x-ud4p 650W antec eathwatts =================== Here's my current overclock, only messing with the multi and upping NB freq from 2000 ---> 2200 MHz. I'm trying to get 4.0-4.2 range with changes other than the multi. I'm lost trying to tighten my overclock, messing with the stuff other than the multiplier or whatever you guys think I should do. If you dont mind also giving ideas on voltages relating to the terms in my bios that would be awesome. If and when in the OC process should i mess with RAM timings? and is a voltage boost needed? I'm bad at taking a bunch of info thrown at me and trying to piece it all together. If someone doesnt mind listing their advice in a step process that would help me a ton If you guys need anymore information please ask , im constantly refreshing my page haha. dihartnell Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 how though, what should i change ? Is your curent settings stable? Up the CPU-NB multilier. You will probably have to up the CPU-NB VID up a couple notches if you get it up to 2600.
Tazman167 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 how though, what should i change ? also from overclocking the CPU NB myself ive noticed that if you want to get passed 2600MHz dont jst use multi by itself to overclock use the HTT as well.
