Now yes, we can choose smaller width videos, but nowadays so much stuff is in HD, why hamper a small percentage of users by choosing smaller videos? Well if someone really wanted to do it, they could use js to detect window size and load a different version for different window sizes, im not saying we need it just that it can be done.
