akmirdock Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 So, I have an ECO alc kit already and my friend has a corsair h70 that he will sell me for $45.00. He used it pretty hard 24/7 use for a while, where as the ECO kit is brand new. It will be cooling an i5 2500K build that Im hoping to get into the high 4 ghz range. Which cooler would you reccomend? I also have a 212+ with 2 fans on it as well, but I am leaning towards one of these water setups, due to some reccomendations from a previous topic I made. So that would be the first question. The second question is the case that I have is the Rosewill Armor Case. I know, there are better cases out there, but this case was next to nothing in terms of cost, and that will be the case used. Will either of these water cooling kits fit on there? It has 2 tube holes on the back by the IO shield area, and since I never water cooled before, I can only assume that the case is set up for water. Any advice on this? I tried doing some fast searches online, and its obviously not the most popular case, but will they work on it?
El_Capitan Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Both will work. If you're using the Hyper 212+, there is a possiblity you'll have to take off the 200mm side case fan.

I was hoping to use water with this build, so I hope it will fit, lol. The only thing I can see that would make the case work with water is the tube holes on it. I think the case would work, but I was hoping someone might be able to confirm for me.
eisbar Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Hey mate you don't need to use those holes as the loop is sealed. You mount the h70/eco where your rear exhausted fan is. There is no reason why it wouldn't fit. Cheers
