astaccz Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Hey I was wondeiring if anyone can help me overclock my system. I tried from other tutorials around but I always get unstable. A link to a guide that is accurate would be good. When pc is unstable do I raise voltage or something? Also I think my graphics card may be holding the system back. Is this true? My system specs are below 520 watt Antec PSU 2.4ghz AMD X2 4600+ 4gb Ram Aftermarket Cooler Master Hyper TX 3 RR-910-HTX3-G1 Nvidia Geforce 210 Pci Express 512 mb ddr2 thak to everyone that read this post. I appreciate it
wevsspot Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 asta - your video card isn't hampering your overclock. When you say you want to "overclock" your system I'm assuming that you mean overclocking your cpu?
Black64 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I know what you mean. you mean bottle-necking your system right? I would say yes it is.
wevsspot Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I know what you mean. you mean bottle-necking your system right? I would say yes it is. ^+1 If that is what you mean - then yes your video card is definitely bottle necking the 3D video performance of your machine. But it doesn't have any impact on how stable your overclock is
