Alexandre Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Nope haven't seen it but it doesn't look or sound like it will perform any better than a stock CPU cooler. Why you ask?

I'm a computer parts illiterate , forgive me if this seems stupid . No need to apologize my friend. Just a few questions however: What system do you have? Why do you need to replace it? How much money have you got to spend? Edited March 14, 2011 by Alexandre

Alexandre Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) 60-65 @ load are good temps for you chip. I would only recommend an upgrade if your thinking of overclocking. Have you tried using Prime95 with Small FFTs? Btw what program you using to measure your temperatures? Have you tried using Prime95 with Small FFTs? Btw what program you using to measure your temperatures? Yea i've overclocked it already from 2.4 to 2.8. I used Everest system stability test on full load it shows avg 63oC but realtemp @68 and coretemp @ 73 . I have no idea on which prog to trust . Alexandre Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I think those temps are fine if you don't plan on going further with the OC.
