BiPolar Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 I have narrowed down my choices to the Antec true430 or true480, the enermax 431p-ve, but I just came across the coolmax taurus 550 for a good price. I read some reviews about coolmax and this psu specifically that seem to rate it pretty high, but I am wary to buy from a company i have not heard of. I'm looking to buy a psu that will support my current rig, any changes (especially overclocks) that I plan on doing once i get rid of my powerman 300, and sometehing that i can use in the future when i do my next upgrade. I was wondering what you folks thought of the coolmax as a psu and as a company. My rig is as follows: Abit NF7-S 2700+ (will overclock once I get new PSU) 1gb Kingston DDR 3200 Maxtor 80gb HD LiteOn 52X CDRW Samsung DVD/CDR Zip250 Floppy MSI Ti4200 2 icute casefans Firewire/USB 2.0 card Thanks! AMDOCuser Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 (edited) I know you're new but you should be posting this in the case & power supply forum.... but any way, I think the Antec True 430 would be sufficient. BiPolar Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 (edited) Sorry about that. Thanks for moving me, however. What doyou think about the coolmax psu? Or have you heard anything about the aspire500 clear case? Edited January 31, 2004 by BiPolar
