Problem Intel 6400 Overclocking

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the whole overclocking thing, but at the same time pretty knowledgeable about the whole process. But I have a few problems I'm running into after just recently turning up the fsb speed from 1066 to 1500 in my bios. After doing this I opened Cpu-z to evaluate my performance, and I noticed that it is showing use of only one core of my cpu. And also my memory is not showing dual channel use when I look over at the memory tab. It only shows single channel. I undid everything I did and it is still showing the same thing. So I realized that it has always been this way. I uploaded Screen Shots, so hopefully one of you guys can tell me what to do to get this fixed, because it shows in the performance.

I've been using a E6300 Conroe processor too, and was able to squeeze 3.1ghz out of it. Although I would like to take it to 3.4ghz if I could.

My rig:
