gtpsuper24 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 (edited) I just recently added six gigs of OCZ Gold ram (3x2gig) DDR3 1333. I had a single 2gig stick in my systems already. Before the new ram was added Prime 95 ran perfect no errors at all. Now that I'm running dual channel with the 8gig total, I keep getting rounding errors on just my third core, rounding was 0.5 expected was 0.4. Just would like someone to point me in the right direction to get Prime 95 to run with no errors. I have no experience with Ram overclocking or timings. I've added several snippets of CPU ID screens. dihartnell Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 tRAS might have to go out to 27.
gtpsuper24 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Well I upped the tRAS to 22 and Prime 95 lasted longer than it did with previous settings. I guess I will keep bumping up and trying each one up to 27. This is the most current Prime 95 test results. Thanks for the help guys. iskout Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 have you run memtest with the new sticks? or running P95 with the new sticks alone? Might be a bad stick in there.
